This is a great oportunity to buy a Vintage Brazilian Rosewood Martin D-28 for less. The body is 100% original with all the beautiful finish checking of a 44 year old Martin. There is no doubt at all that the finish is original. The inside of the body is as clean and original as the day it left the factory. The small maple bridge plate is original and the wonderful straight bracing has been left alone to age into a full strong toned Martin. These are really hard to beat when it comes to tone and volume. The top woods on these do vary often from a dark burnt orange to almost yellow. This one also seems to have the slightly lighter colored Sitka Spruce wood for the top, and really carries a nice open tone. Here is the lowdown. 12 years ago this one fell over and the headstock busted off the original neck. Through "Spruce Tree Music" and "Martin" a new Martin neck was built with the original T bar rod and the original tuners. This neck can actually be seen as a PLUS because it is set perfectly and is as stiff and straight as can be desired. It has a perfect full feel to it and will need no maintenance for decades. Work was so well done that had I not mentioned it you would never know about the neck. It plays like butter and has plenty of bone saddle so there are no setup worries The original hard shell case and even the original (broken) headstock come with the guitar. All there and no secrets or funny business. This one will give you all the volume and tone you will want and is just a great vintage Brazilian Rosewood D-28 Martin guitar. This guitar would otherwise be set at around $6000 to $7000 +. So lets see what it will sell for. I have 11 straight years of perfect Ebay feedback so bid with confidence.
