1970-2 Gibson 335TD Walnut Finish Good Condition OHSC Picture(s) and Description:

This 335 is in good shape for it's age. By no means a showpiece, this guitar has been played not kept in a closet. Has a little checking on front with a greater amount on back and has some lacquer issues in the belt buckle area. I've tried to keep additional damage to a minimum over the years by playing with my shirt out and no belt. I've tried to show this in the pictures as best I can. Playability however is great. This thing sounds and plays excellent. I have always used .09's on it. The neck is slim and fast and the action is low. There is some fret wear but nothing terrible. The tuners are grover's. There is a small hack in the fret board near the 5th fret. It was there when I bought it in the late 80's and looks almost as if someone bit it or the case closed on it. Electronics are original and have no problems. There are some normal dings here and there from use. Like I said this isn't a showpiece, this is a player. Some of the harmonics I've gotten out of it over the years have freaked me out. The handle on the case has been fixed and in general the case overall is in good shape except you can see the wood on the bottom in the back as seen in the picture. A little black tape will fix that if it matters. The interior of the case is in great shape. Serial # 640490 with "MADE IN USA" stamped on back of headstock. I only accept PayPal and only ship to the lower 48 states. No exceptions. Sorry. Shipping and Handling will be a flat $80. It will be packed with care and fully insured with tracking. Local pickup is OK too. Be aware there is a reserve and I'll be happy to answer any questions you may have. Thank you for looking and good luck bidding!
