1991 Gibson Les Paul Standard Picture(s) and Description:

Up for sale is my prized 1991 Gibson Les Paul Standard. This guitar is in wonderful condition, especially considering its' age. The body is a deep red-wine, including the back. (Think of George Harrison's "Lucy"). There are very faint pick scratches and 3 or 4 tiny dents. There is no belt buckle rash. Nothing goes through the finish, and nothing is large enough to be captured in the photos.The neck is extremely fast, with low, buzz-free action. The truss rod work perfectly. All binding is intact and there is no rust or wear on the plating. The frets are original, recently dressed and have plenty of life left on them. The tuners are original and still very strong. The tailpiece, bridge, etc. are all original. The pickups have been upgraded to Semour Duncan zebras, a '59 at the neck and a JB at the bridge. They positively scream when dimed and yet, clean up wonderfully when you back off the volume pot. They have great string-to-string definition and articulation...no mud here! The nut has been changed to a Buzz Feiten nut. The original nut is in the case, so this upgrade is completely reversable. It has a true Gibson hardshell case, made by TKL, not one of those injection-molded plastic things. The case is in great shape, with very few scuffs, I can't imagine that is original.
