First off , I must appologise to those who had already placed bids on this guitar . I had to remove a certain phrase about final settlement venues to satisfy the Ebay, Paypal legal tender gods . Enough venting !!!!! This is a 2006 Carvin CT6C California Carved Top guitar . Visit the Carvin site and check out the construction of these guitars . Joe Walsh loves his California Carved Top guitar and endorses the line for Carvin . The mahogany body is capped with a maple top finished in deep red quilt finish . Floyd Rose locking tremelo . Sperzel locking tuners . C-22 humbucking pickups with a push pull coil tap on the tone control . Strap locks with a Carvin leather strap included . Carvin tweed case that shows signs of use , but is in very good working condition . The guitar itself is free from any marks , scrapes , dings or any type of damage . There are no issues with this guitar . The hardware is all finished in black . It really sets off the hardware well with the red finish . A beautiful birdseye maple fingerboard and mahogany neck both finished with tung oil . The frets are nickel , medium -jumbo and have no signs of being played , although I did play it several times . It did not leave my smoke free home/studio. I wanted a guitar with a tremelo and this is the one I purchased several years ago . I have since directed my playing away from this style guitar . The guitar for all intended purposes is brand new . I have gravitated towards country music more than rock and it's a shame to keep this guitar sitting around unused . I now am into custom built ( VERY EXPENSE ) acoustic & electric guitars and I'm selling off most of my guitars to finance the new acquisitions .
