Up for auction is one Crate VC 2110R 20W tube amp, excellent condition, recently checked out by Indianapolis' best amp tech Kevin at Uncle Albert's to be AOK. Last picture shows a pair so you can get a feel for what I've been using. but this auction is for ONE ! Powered by (3) 12AX7 and (2) EL84 power section with 10" eminance OEM speaker. You can play with tube selection as I have to suit your style by substituting for more or less gain in the preamp section I've preferred a little less so I've used a 12AT7 or even 12AU7 for example. This amp fits in anywhere and if you 've checked harmony central or any number of places online, and aren't already familiar with these amps, they absolutely ROCK! Sweet little blues amp but will do just about everything (except death metal!) Smooth, natural overdrive that sounds like a combination vox and marshall with very sweet highs and awesome mid punch. can be run into external cabinet (16 ohm) and more than hold its own as I've read haven't actually done it though. I own 2 and have used them in a stereo set up at home, never gigged them, & otherwise babied , thoroughly cleaned them I mean inside and out . tubes have plenty of life in them, no rattles, all good to go.
