This has become a classic, since I bought this around 2004 from an Engl sponsored shredder from New Jersey. I can't remember his name, but it was very Italian. He was a featured player on their home page for awhile. Which would make this a first issue Fireball. Serial #203464. They have since reissued these, with a different tube configuration, but same watts. At any rate, I've owned this since then, and I am NOT a world class shredder. I have done absolutly nothing to this amp, other than play it. Two origional Engl 6L6GC Power tubes, and what appear to be 4 Engl ECC83 preamp tubes. 60 tube watts is all 95% of us will ever need. I still spend time trying to tame this thing. The only possiable issues I see, are since the back has never been taken off, it's dusty inside. It might hiss a lil when warming up, but after that it's fine. Very quiet for a high gain amp. An amp tech could clean this up in no time, if desired. A lilltl dusty on the tolex, one little ding that wouldn't show up with a picture. If you play metal, you know you want this. If you don't, the clean channel is suprisingly awsome. When I use a pedalboard in front of the clean channel, I can go from Iron Maiden to Alabama, nooo problem. Very versitle. Everything works as should. F.X. Loop out back. No frills, 2 channel, plug and play, or studio application. The only other small thing is, when I bought this, it had a red light in the back. It has since turned orange, and is fading, but could easly be replaced. Only cosmetic. Pictured. I will include a power cord. I will not end auction early, trade, sell off ebay, or ship outside U.S.A. I wll double box this, and insure for sold amount. Everything works as should, stock, a little dusty, but sounds great.
