You are looking at a Gibson LP Classic with Gibson replacement pickguard(original one will be included) and custom made solid aluminum trussrod cover(original will also be included). Original 496R and 500T humbuckers with chrome covers sound awesome. Guitar is in very good condition with some playwear. Some minor dings and scratches present mostly on back. Neck had minor repair of the heel/neck seam. It opened slightly, was glued tight by Guitar Center luthier, doesn't effect anything. You probably wouldn't notice it unless I mentioned it. Won't show up in a photo. Everything works perfectly. I am a collector and trader and I'm thinning the herd so to speak. 1960/1 Hofner model "161" . This guitar was purchased from the original owners son, and is in remarkable original condition showing very little signs of use, (one small blemish on top edge see pic.6). Amazingly it comes with the leather "dog lead" strap and the original brown case, which is also in great condition. This vintage Hofner is equipped with the sought after " toaster " (art deco) pickup which sounds amazing, all electrics work as they should with a lot of different sounds from the Hofner 3 way switch consul.Neck is straight truss rod works as it should, one screw missing from truss rod cover.
