1968 VOS Historic Custom Shop Les Paul Custom! No Reserve, Free Shipping! For your consideration is this 2003 Gibson Les Paul Custom, '68 VOS Historic Custom Shop, serial number 030588, in a very attractive aged white finish. This Les Paul Custom, a Gibson Custom Shop '68 Historic model, comes with a black Gibson Custom Shop case. This particular example is in very excellent condition with very minimal visible playing wear. This Gibson Les Paul Custom features: a mahogany neck with ebony fretboard and rectangular pearloid inlays, an "aged" all white finish, (1) 490R Alnico II pickup, (1) 498T Alnico V pickup, attractive gold hardware, black control knobs, black guard, gold Grover tuning machines, and original Gibson hard case. This guitar is in extremely excellent condition. It weighs 9 pounds and 14 ounces. It features a large '59 neck profile with medium jumbo frets. There is no playing wear on the body aside from a couple barely noticeable dings on the side, and some black smudges from a strap. There is a small divot on the 6th fret under the B string which snags when bending strings in that area. This common factory defect can easily be smoothed out with a minor fret dressing. The neck is perfectly straight and the action is fantastic. Both pickups sound great, and the 2 PU arrangement is much more practical than a 3 PU Les Paul Custom. This guitar is much more attractive than the similar Alpine white Les Paul Custom, and actually looks like a vintage instrument.
