Vintage 1960 Gibson Melody Maker All Original with rare wider more desireable pickups. This guitar is in nice condition for it's age. It does have some nicks and dings, most noticeable is a scratch/gouge running down the back of the neck (from about right above the nut, to right below the fifth fret), and some dings around the back edge of the body. I tried to capture the worst dings in the pics. Wraparound tailpiece, gold bonnet knobs, amber switch tip, and bumblebee caps just like what was on a 1959-'60 Les Paul. The pots look original with original solders, although two look like they're in better shape, maybe they were two different manufacturers used like CTS and Centralab, but I don't see any signs that they are not original so please look at the pics and use your discretion. This guitar plays and sounds amazing, and it's tough to put down once you pick it up and play it, and there's plenty of fret life left. This comes with the original gator case. The outside of the case is in decent shape, but the inside storage compartment is missing the gibson badge, and has come unhinged. This is a rare and hard to find vintage Gibson.
