This amazing vintage FRETLESS Kramer DMZ 4001 proudly sports its aluminum neck alongside some beautiful wood on her body, and she plays great and sounds fantastic, with a powerful fretless growling “thwang”. The bass shows a few minor signs of use, with some finish checking looking like minor cracking to the thick finish in a few areas on the back of the instrument, but this is very minor and the bass makes a great cosmetic impression. The DeMarzio pickups are cranking loudly as they should, and the large forked aluminum headstock (with Schaller tuners) makes a statement unmatched by any modern guitar. The strings on the bass are a little old (and the gauge is a bit large so the "E" string is too thick to seat all the way in the nut) so I’d recommend getting a new set, but they still sound darn good. The original Kramer case is included, along with the original Kramer warrantee and registration card! Please see my photos below to have a look at this nice item.
